Hey there,

My name is Lucian and I'm a PHP web developer, currently located in Romania.

I've been working with PHP since 2011. During these years, I've mostly worked with legacy PHP codebases, but I've also worked with a bunch of different frameworks like Codeigniter, Slim3 and Laravel. For caching, I've worked with Memcached and Redis. For web-servers, I've used Apache in the early days, and now mostly using nginx on most of my projects. I've also worked with lighttpd, which turned out to be a good fit for a heavy traffic site.

I've also embraced the front-end development, and while I'm not a rockstar, I do have a thing for aesthetics and would go the extra mile to make something look nice, regardless of what I'm building/fixing. That's why I was always tasked with developing data sheets and chart or any internal tool. I'm proficient in CSS and Javascript (mostly worked with jQuery), and also used a lot of Bootstrap. Now I've dived into Tailwind CSS, following a utility first approach to CSS, as well as started working with Vue.js.

I also have experience with working and managing servers, CentOS and Ubuntu, so I'm pretty comfortable with using command line and setting things up, doing maintenance work, troubleshooting problems or working with command line tools like composer, gulp, git etc.
